Mooring Chains
We carry the full range of mooring chains including open link chain, new and second hand chains, which are adaptable to many uses including the off shore industry.
The complete mooring set up is catered for with the sinker, bottom chain and middle shackles along with the top chain connecting to the buoy. This top chain requires regular checking and replacement due to its small diameter and has a normal lifespan in seawater of around 2 - 3 seasons depending on size and conditions.
We hold stock of Forlock Shackles and with mooring shackles and swivels coming in three main types, bow/bowshackle, bow/eye shackle and Dee shackle and can be supplied in various finishes and grades u2 & U3.
We also supply standard mooring rope or pennant rope, all of which we are able to supply at extremely competitive prices:
Cast Iron or Concrete Sinkers (All Weights)
Long life span marine sinkers supplied with mooring bottom shackle as standard. Cast iron sinkers are supplied in various weights and have an extended life span.
Concrete sinkers have an expected life cycle of up to 15 years.
Buoys
We supply a full range of buoys and are stockists of most main brands.
All our marine buoys are manufactured using highest quality man made materials ensuring a long working & maintenance free life.
